Today is end of my short contract with a consulting company, seems very hard and tight to find another job especially like me as a freelance ... i must have better networking and relationship with customer
Today is full with preparation for one of my customer project go live. Data migration with huge with master data upload to system seems running smoothly ... after passing quality assurance testing and passing development phase. Yesterday i had to go home 10pm .. a very rare situation happening in this consulting company. I should create another new program for uploading material master since the program previously used was developed using different specs (specification) which takes time in locking system for the material object. I rewrote the program in one hour and other logistics consultant and an user tested it and the program passed their requirement.
However this morning, they retested and found that the program posted the material to wrong storage location.. i can fix the problem in a half hour. After several times of testing, finally the program was transported to production system to upload the actual data. It seems running smoothly afterall.
This month i got some excellent offering. Unfortunately i failed to got them. One exciting offering comes from a friend and reputed consulting company. The daily rate is 650usd free of tax. After a technical interview, they told me i didn't pass the interview... meanwhile one of my colleague can get the job without interview for several month contract. Another offering is like a fake offering which is too high offering coming from UK, i got their offering letter and contract letter ready to sign .. the offering is for business intelligent consultant and datawarehousing ..i decided not to follow up the risky contract, i am not deserved at this moment to get such the contract . Though one of my friend can get 7000usd monthly in Jakarta for the same job description. Maybe someday after i can improve my communication skill.
