Flu

di Spur ternyata bisa kena flu jg ane sampai agak batuk nih, termasuk temen sekantor yg orang Spur dan orang India. Tadinya selalu merasa disini lingkungannya sehat jadi jauh2 dari flu hehe ... sama aje ya .. tapi memang polusi disini boleh dibilang hampir gak ada. Untungnya ane bekel obat paracetamol dosis tinggi 500mg diminum 3 hari dan gak jalan2 lah minggu ini, keliatannya agak baikan. Kalau di kantor di Changi Business Park, di sekitar dapur ada salah satu pengumuman bagaimana cara di kantor untuk menghindari flu. Lupa point2nya tapi keliatannya bagus dan praktikal jg.

Banjir dan Longsor

Kemaren pas jumatan di Masjid Sultan nyoba pulang ke kantor diiringi hujan rintik2 dg beberapa teman. Tadinya hujan lumayan lebat. Sepanjang jalan ada juga genangan2 air.... ya kasarnya banjir lah gak bisa dilewati karena sampai semata kaki, jadi kita nyebrang dulu ke arah lain atau ambil jalan lain. Ternyata cerita2 dari temen disini di beberapa tempat kalau hujan gede ada banjir juga dan di daerah utara ada juga longsor ... hihi baru tau.

Telp Jakarta-Singapore

Dari Spore ana pake Hello Card. Mekanisme nya dari HP kita telp ke nomor tertentu untuk mancing aja (mancing call back). Setelah otomatis putus beberapa detik kemudian bakal ada yg nelfon kita dan kita diminta masukan bahasa (1# untuk inggris) terus nomor kartu Hello nya, terus nomor tujuan kita. Kalau Hello Card baru yg nilainya 10SG, mesin nya bilang bisa ngomong sampai 5 jam atau 300 menit lebih. Tapi prakteknya, kita ngomong 10 menit berkurangnya bisa 30 menit lho. Jadi prakteknya 10SG itu bisa untuk 100menit alias 2 jam kurang. Jadi rata2 Rp 600 an per menit. Kalau kepepet, dari singtel langsung telp aja (gak perlu beli kartu2an lagi) ke 0196221.... tapi ini tarifnya di atas Rp 1000/semenit.

Kalau dari Jakarta ke Spur, ane pake kartu Jimat atau ada yg lain yg bisa dari handphone juga. Kalau ini langsung call aja, gak pake masukin kode2 tertentu lagi, tarifnya Rp 800-1000 per menit.

kok kayak durex ya... btw Core2Duo ini 13inchi, lebih murah dari yg ane temuin di Spore.. di sini rata2 diatas 2rb SG atau diatas sekitar 12jt Rp. Minggu kemaren pulang bulanan ke Jkt dan ketemu Axioo adik yg beli Rp4Jt (Celeron, 512MB, 14") wah ringan sekali ya .. jadi kebelet ganti laptop biar gak cape bawa kemana2, Axioo aja udah bagus dan keren. Kalau disini paling dapetin produk lokal Prestigio yg 12inch Celeron, 12",2GB RAM sekitar 1100SG atau hampir 7jt Rp. Hmm kayaknya mendingan Durex ... eh Zyrex Cruiser NDV500

Prosesornya Centrino Duo T5500 (apa ya keluarga T ini?) Core 2 Duo 1.66GHz, RAM 1GB 533Mhz max 2GB, 80GB. Harga kredit Bank Mandiri 830rb sebulan selama setahun, atau beli langsung Rp 8.6Jt.... Mentri keuangan di rumah sih udah setuju kayaknya tapi yg kredit biar nggak beratin soalnya Compak M2235AP, Celeron, 15",1GB bisa buat anak2 di rumah

I am thinking how to make Jakarta like Singapore as shopping heaven. The simplest formula would be
- create safe and centralized information for tourist regarding shopping area, accomodation, transportation
- the information could be label media which clear for passenger
- so the main point here is good and clear information from the beggining point of possible journey of tourists, from Internet, airports, bus interchange and stop, public places with clear and clear. Brochure is likely not clear.

Internet Singapore Lebih Murah? Mimpi kali...

Seperti terbangun dari mimpi, ane bermimpi pake internet cukup bayar 10sg per bulan dan unlimited. Ternyata unlimited nya ada tambahan kecil-kecil dan terms and conditions yg ane lewati. Duinggggg... ane musti bayar 299sg untuk pemakaian internet bulan ini. Wakakak... Berhatilah sodara2 bikin kontrak di negri kecil tapi kaya ini. Bacalah terms and conditions nya berulang2, tanya berulang2 (nanya sekali kemungkinan salah).

Ini terjadi dg kontrak kerja ane jg, yg awalnya ane jg sudah mengelus dada karena gak ada lebihnya dari Jakarta. Dealnya waktu itu pajak dibayarin company, duinggggg ... sampai disini ternyata masih dipotong juga 15% untuk pajak (walaupun katanya refundable, tapi pasti banyak isu nantinya, ada assesment lah .. ada ini itu), ane cari pasal yg menguatkan posisi kita.. kagak ada .. duingggg lagi. Waspadalah waspadalah ...

Yg unlimited dan gratis itu ternyata WIFI, dan di kost ane gak dapet WIFI musti ke starbuck atau mcD... kalau ini mah gak ada yg aneh dong kan beli makanan dulu gratis dapet internet. Yg betul2 unlimited mobile GPRS ada sekitar 80sg perbulan, ada juga yang sekitar 25sg perbulan untuk volume 5GB kontrak 6 bulan (hitung juga resiko USB/PCMCIA yg dipinjemin rusak harus ganti 350sg dan termination penalti ente musti bayar 35 kali sisa bulan dari kontrak, ini bolong2 yg ente musti waspadai).

Pameran Komputer di Suntec City dan JHCC Jakarta/ Computer Exhibition in Suntec City and JHCC Jakarta

There are two similar events this weekend in Jakarta and Singapore... IT or Computer Exhibition. I try to compare some laptops and parts because i have planning to buy a new laptop, the old one which i bought in Kualalumpur (Compaq Presario Celeron 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 60GB Hardisk) will be used for my wife and kids.

My criteria are: cheap, 12/13 inch, drivers available for Win2000 Server, minimum RAM 1GB extendbl to 2GB, minimum problem. My finding is
- parts in Singapore is cheaper , but Jakarta has a lot option of more cheaper laptop than Singapore such as Axioo and Zyrex (my brother has proven that Axioo Celeron is stable for ERP application servers / Business Intelligence and its database for only 670SGD/440USD, some research in internet can't find significant problem on the products for two year usage)
- Zyrex brand (Jkt) NDVxxx type: 8.5million IDR or 1417SGD with spec Core2Duo, 13inch, 1GB RAM, 80GB Hardisk, 1 year warranty, the salesperson said they already prove this box can run Win2K but i didn't find the W2K drivers from www.zyrex.com, they said i can try installing when buying it
- Prestigio brand (Sg) X20 type: 1480SGD, 12", Core Duo (NOT core2duo), RAM 1GB, 80GB, 3 year warranty 1 year parts. Prestigio has 12" Celeron for 1080SGD (1GB RAM, 40GB HD).
- HD 80GB : 95SGD, 100GB: 115SGD, RAM 1GB 110SGD (in SG, looks cheaper than Jakarta)
